Enjoy a sit down dinner beneath the stars in the courtyard of the Western Plains Cultural Centre. Capture the ambiance of WWI with trench food (well sort of), good wines, good company, readings from, and an opportunity to purchase, Andrew Dunkley's book All I See Is Mud.
Using actual events, diary notes and letters, Andrew Dunkley has crafted a memoir of his grandfather, Private Stan Dunkley. At sixteen Stan left Sydney for the battlefields of France and Belgium, now in the latter stages of the Great War. All I See Is Mud is a "...confronting story of one soldier's struggle against a determined enemy and his own inadequacies."
