Together we walk the steps our precious babies never had the chance to take.

Part of International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, this is a day to come together to remember our babies and find connection with other bereaved parents, families and friends.

This first event in ACT will be a gathering of bereaved families for a BYO picnic and will include a memory making activity, pinwheel ceremony and a short ceremonial Walk to symbolise the steps our babies didn't get to take.  Each registration includes a pinwheel.

In planning our event we are referent to Commonwealth and ACT Government restrictions and guidance regarding COVID-19 safety.  We will be monitoring any changes to restrictions closely and amending our plans as needed.

For personalised t-shirts and singlets, we are partnering with A Cut Above Byron who will sell shirts directly and make a donation per garment to Sands. Orders need to be received by 22 September at the latest to allow for postage time.

Our precious Walk to Remember events would not be possible without the support of our amazing volunteers and donors. If you can help on the day or would like to make a contribution, please let let us know through the registration process or by contacting Samantha Isfahani,  Community and Health Promotion Co-ordinator ACT on 02 6225 5867 or E samanthaisfahani@rednose.org.au
