Together we walk the steps our precious babies never took

Part of International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Month, this is a day to come together to remember our loved ones and find connection with other bereaved parents. The event will include a memorial service during which you will be invited to come forward & say your loved one's name/s. The service will be followed by a ceremonial Walk to ‘take the steps our babies could not’, generally a 10-15 minute short walk. 

In planning our event we are referent to Commonwealth and Western Australian Government COVID restrictions and  COVID safe guidence. We will be monitoring any changes to restrictions closely and amending our plans as needed.

The event takes place outdoors with groups encouraged to spread out..  Please bring along your folding chairs or picnic and/or picnic blanket.   

For personalised t-shirts and singlets, Sands is partnering with A Cut Above Byron who will sell shirts directly and make a donation per garment to Sands. Orders need to be received by 15 September at the latest to allow for postage time.
