Gather at this beautiful family-friendly beachside park location to spend time with other bereaved families and remember our little ones gone far too soon. We'll be meeting at the area beside the skating rink, under the trees – look for the Walk to Remember banner.
The Walk to Remember is a long-running annual event in the Sands, and now Red Nose, community. Families registered for the Bundaberg Walk will be able to watch the video remembrance service, including readings and reflections, which will be sent to you the day before our gathering. We'll then come together here in our local community to spend time together, share memories of our little ones and take our own reflective Walk - taking the steps our babies could not.
The Walk to Remember is a tradition that is linked to Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day/Month. We invite all bereaved Red Nose families to come along and remember their little ones, recognising that we have all experienced loss and that all our babies and children have missed out on very important steps with their families.
Heart Strings members can use the discount code from their welcome letter to access discounted tickets. For more information about Heart Strings, and to sign up, please visit our website here.
For anyone experiencing financial difficulty, a fee waiver code is available on request to communityengagement@rednose.org.au.
We’re once again partnering with A Cut Above Byron for personalised event t-shirts, who generously donate a portion of the sale of each Walk to Remember shirt to Red Nose. Tanja requests that you make your order at least three weeks before your Walk, and if you live in WA or anywhere else where mail from the East Coast can be particularly slow, to add an extra week.Refund Policy
Refunds up to 1 day before the event, We're conscious that due to COVID, people may need to make last-minute changes to their plans. We will have incurred costs for your tickets, and would very much welcome should you wish to convert your ticket price to a donation.
