Join us under the beautiful flowering jacarandas for this year's New Farm (Brisbane) Walk to Remember, a beautiful opportunity to love and connect, to honour and remember the babies and children who are no longer with us. We'll be meeting from 9:30am for a 10am start.

The Walk to Remember is a long-running annual event in the Sands, and now Red Nose, community. The formal remembrance service includes readings and reflections from local bereaved families, an opportunity for guests to publicly share the name of the little one/s they are remembering , a shared time of reflection and remembrance in our Pinwheel Ceremony and of course the symbolic Walk to Remember itself - taking the footsteps our babies could not. Following the Walk, we invite you to stay on to enjoy bake sale goodies and the beautiful river views.

The Walk to Remember is a tradition that is linked to Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day/Month. We invite all bereaved Red Nose families to come along and remember their little ones, recognising that we have all experienced loss and that all our babies and children have missed out on very important steps with their families.

Each adult or child ticket includes one pinwheel. Pinwheels are not suitable for children under 3, so please select the ticket option reflecting this.

Heart Strings members can use the discount code from their welcome letter to access discounted tickets. For more information about Heart Strings, and to sign up, please visit our website here

For anyone experiencing financial difficulty, a fee waiver code is available on request to communityengagement@rednose.org.au.

We’re once again partnering with A Cut Above Byron for personalised event t-shirts, who generously donate a portion of the sale of each Walk to Remember shirt to Red Nose. Tanja requests that you make your order at least three weeks before the event.

This project kindly supported by the Lord Mayor’s Community Fund and Central Ward Councillor.
