Together we walk the steps our precious babies never took

This is a day to come together to remember our babies and find connection with other bereaved parents. The event will include  a 3km Walk to ‘take the steps our babies could not’ followed by lunch and a short memorial service. Be sure to bring a picnic blanket or fold up chairs and plenty of sun protection.

Event times are:

• 10am - Registrations and memory flag decorating commence 
• 11am – Official welcome and walk commences
• 12pm – Entertainment begins (musician and facepainter)
• 1pm – Ceremony commences.

Please register all adults and children over three.  Ticket price includes pinwheel.  Delicious food and drink will be for sale separately. There will be a bake sale on the day for which we would welcome donations of baked goods. You can indicate any areas you'd like to volunteer for during registration.

Memory flags will once again be a special feature of the event. You can make your own before the event (we will email you instructions upon registration) or purchase one on the day for a gold coin donation that you can personalise. 

For personalised t-shirts and singlets, we are partnering with A Cut Above Byron who will sell shirts directly and make a donation per garment to Sands. Orders need to be received by 30 September at the latest to allow for postage time.
