Join us in the beautiful Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens for this year's Sunshine Coast Walk to Remember, a beautiful opportunity to love and connect, to honour and remember the babies and children who are no longer with us
The Walk to Remember is a long-running annual event in the Sands, and now Red Nose, community. The formal remembrance service includes readings and reflections from local bereaved families, an opportunity for guests to publicly share the name of the little one/s they are remembering , a shared time of reflection and remembrance in our Pinwheel Ceremony and of course the symbolic Walk to Remember itself - taking the footsteps our babies could not.
We welcome you to bring along a photo, teddy or other item to place on our shared remembrance table during the service. We also invite you to bring a picnic blanket and share time connecting and remembering in the gardens with other bereaved families after the formalities.
The Walk to Remember is a tradition that is linked to Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day/Month. We invite all bereaved Red Nose families to come along and remember their little ones, recognising that we have all experienced loss and that all our babies and children have missed out on very important steps with their families.
Heart Strings members can use the discount code from their welcome letter to access discounted tickets. For more information about Heart Strings, and to sign up, please visit our website here.
