About the Walk of Hope:

Hope: Global’s annual fundraising event the Walk of Hope is coming up and we are calling on those who would like to make a difference in the world! Is that you? 

The Walk of Hope is all about coming together and supporting HOPE: Global's quality education programs in developing nations. The HOPE: Education program aims to alleviate poverty through practical means and training. We do this by training teachers and NGO leaders in countries devastated by war, genocide and poverty including in Rwanda, Cambodia, Uganda and Kenya.

Last year, the funds raised at the Walk of Hope provided over 500 teachers with access to our teacher training workshops. In 2015 we would like to double our impact and see 1000+ teachers and NGO staff trained and equipped to deliver a higher quality education to students across the world. Together we can make this happen!

Where: 

The HOPE: Global Walk of Hope will be taking place on Saturday the 28^th of February and will be taking place in two locations - Sydney (Cronulla) and the Central Coast (Avoca Beach).

We are also opening up registrations for Walk of Hope teams across the world to take part wherever you are! So what are you waiting for? Wherever you are get your sneakers on and join us in the walk for HOPE!

Here’s how to get involved:

1. Choose your location: 

Will it be Central Coast or Sydney? Both 12km walks will be followed by live music, food, kids activities and more! A Kids Walk of Hope will also take place for the first 2 km of each walk. Walking route details and directions will be sent to all registered participants

2. Purchase your tickets 

Get your family and friends involved too. You will save $5 per ticket when you register a group of 10 people! 

3. Get sponsored and fundraise:
