SUPERCHARGE YOUR MANUFACTURING PROFIT WITHIN SIX MONTHS USING THE THEORY OF CONSTRAINTS (TOC)

Stratflow and its partners are proud to be supporting countries to improve their National Welding Capability (NWC). One of the strategies to improve an NWC involves improving the productivity of the welding related fabrication, construction and maintenance Industries on a holistic basis. In the time after lockdowns, the world will be different and the challenges for business will be different. This webinar aims to stimulate new thinking for businesses and to give some guidelines on how to be more pro-active and resilient in the challenging and changing times ahead.

The workshop will be conducted Online via Zoom by International Experts, Hendrik Lourens from Sydney, Australia, and Arrie van Niekerk & Callie Roos from Pretoria, South Africa on Thursday18th June 2020 on Zoom from 08:30 to 12:30 South African and Serbian Time, 09:30 to 13:30 Eastern European Time, 12:00 to 16:00 Indian Time.

INTRODUCTION

This four-hour workshop serves as a short introduction to the Theory of Constraints (TOC) concepts and how they are implemented in industrial companies operating in complex environments. Attendees will receive a good grasp of their application and potential. After the workshop, prospective companies may wish to discuss with Stratflow how they can progress further the implementation of the TOC concepts in their organisation.

WHAT THE WORKSHOP WILL DO FOR YOU

This workshop will demonstrate why and how it is possible for the same factory, the same infrastructure, the same people and the same equipment to produce at least 20% more by doing things in a different way. This new approach will inevitably improve production flow, especially after lockdown, reduce costs, improve delivery times and through the project execution approach, improve due date performance significantly. The workshop will help uncover the deeply rooted flaws in the way we think and manage our operations and introduce a fresh, new way. In order to achieve significant results, things must change. The physical work will be the same, but the way that leadership will unfold, the way the suppliers and customers will behave will be different. It will require changes in the way we think, the way we plan, the way we measure and ultimately how we execute our operations.

PURPOSE

The purpose of the half-day workshop is to stimulate companies to do quick start up after lockdown by introducing the Theory of Constraints (TOC) as a Systems Approach. The workshop will demonstrate how TOC can lift the productivity through the application of systems thinking and enable significant improvement in delivery time, production lead time, cost, quality, and excellence. It will link this to the world of complexity and will give some insight on how to align employees and turn up the performance of the business
